About This Content Coming in hot and fresh from a distant galaxy to the digital media platform of your choice, it’s Hiveswap Friendsim Vol. 5! Now with two new trolls to friend and be friended by. Delve deeper into the hostile urban landscape of an alien world as you brush up on your Alternian culture. Experience thrills, chills, and perhaps even a little something extra as you swim the murky waters of troll romance. Bet you didn’t see that coming, huh? Romance, in a friendship simulator? Unheard of. People don’t romance their friends, that’s crazy talk. Though it might not be what you’d expect—this romance you weren’t expecting, that is. So it might just be what you expected after all. Sufficiently confused? Good. Throw down that dollar and allow us to explain.---You just crash-landed on Alternia, and you’re DESPERATE for friendship! Anyone will do...wait, who are those two trolls approaching you?The Hiveswap Friendsim is a quick, loosely-canonical visual novel adventure following the efforts of the unnamed protagonist (that’s you!) to survive and maybe even thrive on the harsh surface of ALTERNIA. Set in the time of Hiveswap: Act 1, this episodic visual novel’s opening volume, written by Homestuck creator Andrew Hussie, is sure to satisfy Homestuck and Hiveswap fans who are eager for a darker stroll across the Alternian landscape. Future episodes will arrive regularly as DLC. a09c17d780 Title: Hiveswap Friendsim - Volume FiveGenre: Adventure, Casual, Indie, RPG, SimulationDeveloper:What Pumpkin Games, Inc.Publisher:What Pumpkin Games, Inc.Release Date: 8 Jun, 2018 Hiveswap Friendsim - Volume Five Free Download [hacked] Thank you again, What Pumpkin Games! For giving me my new waifu and the character in the whole of HS that I just love to hate! would play a million times, just to see her smile and to see him suffer!15\/10!!!!. Half good again, its worth it for ?????? shes cool. Zebruh... is a thing, yeah.... Volume 4 is an interesting one. Zebruh Codakk from the Troll Call if you've been following and a... mystery troll we've never seen before???First I'll say some general things. The backgrounds are lazier in this one than usual, it feels like. And I'm also PRETTY sure there's some old-style inverted daedric troll text in there, on backgrounds that I'm pretty sure are recycled so they've probably been there in other episodes too. I wonder if they're going to need to do something about that. The art for the characters themselves is as good as ever, but the lusus portrayal is also... different. I don't want to say it really looks lazier or much worse than how it already was, but... well, they do have a good reason to do it this way for a visual gag, but the thing about THAT is you can only really see it if you press H to hide the text boxes and stuff to see the character sprites in full.Anyway, to touch briefly on the writing, it occurs to me it's getting increasingly silly to try and analyze the writing of each of them. Speaking personally, I can't detect much variance in quality or skill from one episode or writer to the next. In fact, I still haven't even bothered to look up who writes who. I just don't care that much. I... GUESS? The writing seems a little more clever and funny than last volume? Both routes this time had a line that actually made me laugh out loud, and that's not something that happens to me often. I don't know if any of the last volumes did that even. But take that with a grain of salt. I don't think it matters either way because the characters are all so different and convey so many different crazy things that it's hard to really compare them to each other. But since the writing always does the job of exploring the character, showing them in their highs and lows, everything else ends up being tied to the quality of the character itself.Anyway, I think that's about as much as I feel like saying without getting into spoiler territory, so if you haven't yet, check it out. I recommend it as much as any other volume!. Zebruh was by far the absolute worst troll and I was worried that he would be too awful for me to truly enjoy his routes but I was pleasantly proven wrong. While he is still the worst, I\u2019m really glad how the route was written, because there were definitely some really funny parts and tbh the mind gymnastics this dude showed were incredible in the worst way which was pretty amusing. ?????? was amazing, not only in the route but the music. It goes without saying but the art is always fantastic regardless of which artist is in charge. Anyways ?????? was surprisingly heart warming, a welcomed contrast to Zebruh XD and the references made in this route were super cool.. Zebruh is the worst, well written, but the WORSTTTBut Polypa was the best, 10\/10, would shooshpap again. Half good again, its worth it for ?????? shes cool. Zebruh... is a thing, yeah.... tbh I still like Zebruh after this route but it doesnt change the fact that I'd gladly kick him across a football feild lmao. Well dang, my absolute favorite route so far (And I wouldn't be at all surprised if it stayed true later down the road), and my least favorite of all (probably forever,,,, Zebruh was even slimier than my very inital impression led me to believe) The creators sure make it hard to not get even the volumes with the..... less savoury characters. But all in all, the wholesome-ness of Polypa's route (almost) certainly made up for the gross feeling Zebruh left me with (I do the least favourite troll route first). $0.99 well spent once again. Polypa is wonderful and Zebruh is terrible (of course)
